Join us and help create a multicultural community heirloom!
You are invited to participate in a community art project – ‘The Fabric of Life’.
We need you to help piece together the multicultural spirit of our community. The project will give a visual form to the idea of bringing the many parts of our community together by creating a wall hanging.
Make your mark, choose an item of your own culture and/or your adopted culture and make it on a fabric square, and contribute to a visual sense of what makes us who we are in the Town of Victoria Park.

– No experience necessary
– Free facilitated workshops by experienced community artist
– All materials supplied

Come and enjoy the introductory workshop at the ‘VPCA Art Supermarket’ at Victoria Park Central Shopping Centre, 366 Albany Highway (cnr Shepperton Road), Victoria Park.

Meditative Painting Workshop with Mark Stevens

As part of Mental Health Week 2021, Mark Stevens will be running this Meditative Painting workshop at the Victoria Park Centre for the Arts during his exhibition, Duality of the Mind.

The Duality of the Mind Exhibition will run from 7 October 2021 to 24 October 2021 at the Kent Street Gallery. Mark’s work investigates the nature of the opposites that exist within our minds and emotions, and how they interact with each other.
