Learn acrylic paint handling & gain painting confidence to paint 2 large floral canvases from scratch with 2 techniques using the Blooms Painting Method with successful artist of 33 years & art teacher of 22 years Jacqueline Coates.

About your art tutor:

Jacqueline is an established and selling artist of 33 years painting experience and runs her Blooms Art School online to students in Canada, NZ, USA, Spain, GERMANY , Netherlands and Australia. She finds time to teach her in person Blooms workshop across locations in Australia, NZ, FRANCE, and Los Angeles, USA.

Jacqueline is also the author of MAKE MONEY FROM ART- a memoir.

Recently her paintings were featured on Ashdene Fine Bone China internationally.

Jacqueline has been featured in The Weekend Australian, Inside Out Magazine, Australian Country Style, Vogue, Australian Country, Qantas Magazine, The Adelaide Advertiser and more.

She lives in the Barossa Valley and has her gallery and workshop space at Salon Rouge Gallery in Kapunda, as well as a painting studio in the Creuse in France where she also conducts French Art School.

Jacqueline was formally trained in fine arts specialising in painting and drawing at UNSW College of Fine Arts where she achieved her BA FINE ARTS. She then painted successfully from her home studio selling her paintings nationally and internationally. WHen students wanted to learn from her and her techniques she developed her BLOOMS PAINTING METHOD ideal for newbies and rusty painters to get their confidence and knowledge up quickly for great results. She has been highly awarded for her art teaching online and in her workshops.

SEASONAL HAND TIED BOUQUET IN A VASE (ADULTS 15+)

Learn how to arrange beautiful flowers from an experienced florist. 
Using a hand tied technique and arranged in a pretty glass vase. 
Learn some of the basics of choosing, arranging flowers and how to care for them at home.

ALL NATURAL ECOPRINT WORKSHOP

Would you like to live creatively while being mindful of your impact on the environment at the same time? Join textile and visual artist Annette Wiguna, as she takes you on a journey of botanical printing (aka ecoprint) by using all natural substances that are affordable and easily accessible from your pantry.

In this All Natural Ecoprint workshop, the focus will be on making soy milk binder, rust water, vinegar soak, and tannin baths without the use of powdered metallic salts. The skills that you will learn in this workshop will enable you to revive old and stained garments, extend the life of expired pantry goods, and increase appreciation of the natural environment.

While we are waiting for our bundles to brew, Emani Lea will be providing a 45 minute sound bath meditation to offer a space of stillness and reconnection.

Light refreshment will also be provided.

About Emani Lea:
Emani is a craniosacral therapist, musician, and sound facilitator. She is a key member of the En’Coda 432 hz Ensemble, and has been immersed in the healing arts for 18 years. She believes that in the path of gentleness, presence, and the space of deep listening, true healing, transformation and harmony can take place.
