Would you like to live creatively while being mindful of your impact on the environment at the same time? Join textile and visual artist Annette Wiguna, as she takes you on a journey of botanical printing (aka ecoprint) by using all natural substances that are affordable and easily accessible from your pantry.
In this All Natural Ecoprint workshop, the focus will be on making soy milk binder, rust water, vinegar soak, and tannin baths without the use of powdered metallic salts. The skills that you will learn in this workshop will enable you to revive old and stained garments, extend the life of expired pantry goods, and increase appreciation of the natural environment.
While we are waiting for our bundles to brew, Emani Lea will be providing a 45 minute sound bath meditation to offer a space of stillness and reconnection.
Light refreshment will also be provided.
