This flexible, drop-in creative activation offers a welcoming space for play, connection, and exploration.

The program features five rotating, artist-led stations including calligraphy, watercolour, printmaking, air-dry clay, and mural art. Participants are free to come and go, explore at their own pace, and build creative confidence through hands-on, expressive experiences.


ABSTRACT REALISM LANDSCAPE PAINTING (3hr Workshop)

Ever wanted to play with acrylic paints and glazes and create your own landscape artwork? Join artist Sarah Eve for a hands-on painting workshop where participants are guided through her abstract realism landscape techniques in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Designed for ages 11 and above, this workshop welcomes adults, parents and young creatives alike. You’ll experiment with colour, texture, and layering, learning how to transform favourite landscapes or travel photos into a personal artwork to take home.

With a small group format, participants receive individual guidance and plenty of time to ask questions and explore their creativity. No prior art experience is required, just curiosity and a willingness to play and experiment with paint.

A fun, encouraging workshop for anyone wanting to reconnect with creativity or try something new.

Learn the essential steps to begin your natural dyeing and printing (ecoprinting) journey with textile artist Annette Wiguna, using eco-friendly and affordable ingredients sourced from your pantry and garden. This one-day workshop is specially designed for beginners and those with prior experience in natural dyeing and/or ecoprinting. All materials are included.

BEGINNERS CROCHET CLUTCH WORKSHOP

The Stitch Society’s Crochet Clutch Workshop is perfect if you’re an absolute beginner in crochet – or you’ve tried following online videos to learn how to start but just don’t get it!

We designed this workshop so that you can learn the basic (and most commonly used) stitches in crochet and make something beautiful and practical too. You will discover what you need to know when starting your crocheting journey, with tips and tricks that will save you hours and learning curves down the track – with years of knowledge condensed and set out in an easily digestible workshop for you to satiate your crocheting goals! You’ll learn how to read a crochet pattern too.

This Crochet Clutch design will allow you to put your newly learnt stitches into practice – and to repeat them to cement your learning.

You will receive a crochet starter equipment kit and a comprehensive booklet with all the information you need to take home so you don’t forget all the great new skills you’ve learnt in the workshop. Yarn and nibbles will also be provided so you can settle in and craft, connect, and create!
