In this art class students will learn to use a variety of materials and techniques such as lead pencil, oil pastel, soft pastel, watercolour paint and acrylic paint. They will explore colour, art and design and take home beautiful art works. During classes we will be learning tips on how to achieve the best results. The classes are fun and relaxing, the best way to learn to love art, and start a passion.

CREATIVE KIDS ART CLUB

CREATIVE KIDS (5–8 yrs)
Wed 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm | Thursday 3:45 pm – 4:45 pm

Creative Kids (5-8yrs) can explore art through drawing and sculpture. We will begin with a fun drawing project focused on our hands and colour. Kids can design and draw a monster and then make their fun monster sculpture in 3D with newspaper and paper mâché. We’ll complete the term by celebrating the year of the snake with a 3D paper sculpture complete with moveable body.

ART CLUB (9–14 yrs)
Wed 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm | Commencing: 12 Feb
Cost: $240

Try out a range of different drawing techniques using pencil, oil pastel, markers, chalk pastels and water-colour or acrylic paints. Investigate colour, texture and composition through three different creative projects. In Term 1, we will design and draw a detailed illustration, make an abstract botanical painting on canvas and learn about drawing with charcoal with an intricate bird study.
