In this art class students will learn to use a variety of materials and techniques such as lead pencil, oil pastel, soft pastel, watercolour paint and acrylic paint. They will explore colour, art and design and take home beautiful art works. During classes we will be learning tips on how to achieve the best results. The classes are fun and relaxing, the best way to learn to love art, and start a passion.


   


CREATIVE KIDS (5-8 yrs)

Wed 4-5pm | Thurs 4-5pm  Commencing: 29 Apr | 30 Apr

Explore a fun and colourful journey through art this term! Young artists will create a dramatic close-up animal eye using oil pastels, paint a vibrant underwater dolphin scene on canvas inspired by Christian Lassen, and design their own Perth city skyline with watercolour techniques. They’ll also experiment with drawing shimmering soap bubbles while learning about light, colour layering, and composition. This term focuses on building confidence, creativity, and foundational art skills through engaging, hands-on projects.

ART CLUB (9-14 yrs)

Wed 5-6pm | Commencing: 29 Apr

Develop advanced drawing and painting skills through exciting and expressive projects. Students will create a detailed animal eye study, a dynamic dolphin and wave painting inspired by Christian Lassen, and a striking Perth city skyline using watercolour and fine liner techniques. They’ll also refine their sketching skills with a guided bunny drawing. This term emphasises observation, composition, shading, and technique while encouraging students to build their own artistic style.

MANGA MASTERCLASS (8-14 yrs)

Thurs 5-6pm  Commencing: 30 Apr

Bring your anime characters to life in this dynamic Manga program! Students will learn full-body figure drawing, including front and side profiles, before progressing into creating their own autumn-themed storyboards. Using alcohol markers, they’ll explore colour, shading, perspective, and composition while designing detailed outdoor scenes. This term builds strong foundations in character design, storytelling, and stylised illustration, helping students gain confidence in their manga artwork.
