Lynley Jakowyna presents a collection of mosaic works depicting the Australian landscape. Experimenting with different techniques and materials, Lynley is constantly challenging herself to develop and extend her knowledge in order to create the desired effects of dimension, realism, reflectivity and perspective of a painterly style of mosaic making.

Inspiration for these pieces usually comes from different aspects of the natural beauty of our country or the desire to create an atmosphere or represent an emotion in the finished piece. The mosaics are the artist’s interpretation of these images with which she has a personal connection.
