‘Acid Utopia: Judgment Day’ is the follow-up to the 2020 exhibition ‘Acid Utopia’, reuniting artists Anthony Kelly, Guillermo Kramer, Lyle Branson and Peter Carlino. Against the backdrop of growing global uncertainty, the exhibition explores how utopian dreams — shaped and distorted by late capitalism— transform into hybrid or dystopian realities.
Through mixed media, the artists examine the friction between idealistic visions and their often-compromised outcomes. ‘Acid Utopia: Judgment Day’ invites viewers to reflect on the shifting nature of hope, power and imagination in an increasingly unstable world.
