In this art class students will learn to use a variety of materials and techniques such as lead pencil, oil pastel, soft pastel, watercolour paint and acrylic paint. They will explore colour, art and design and take home beautiful art works. During classes we will be learning tips on how to achieve the best results. The classes are fun and relaxing, the best way to learn to love art, and start a passion.
CREATIVE KIDS (5-8 yrs)
Wed 4-5pm | Thurs 4-5pm Commencing: 14 Oct | 15 Oct
Explore colour and creativity through a series of fun art projects! Create a colourful fruit bowl using pastels and paint pens, then discover how to make artwork glow with an LED light painting. Next, paint a bright and playful turtle before finishing with a cute tiger pastel artwork on black paper.
ART CLUB (9-14 yrs)
Wed 5-6pm | Commencing: 14 Oct
Develop your drawing and painting skills through a series of exciting projects! Create a colourful still life using pencils and paint pens, then learn how to make a balloon animal painting glow with LED-inspired effects. Next, draw a realistic turtle before taking on the challenge of a detailed crushed soft drink can using coloured pencils.
MANGA MASTERCLASS (8-14 yrs)
Thurs 5-6pm | Commencing: 15 Oct
Master the art of manga through a fun series of character and food illustrations! Learn to draw yourself in manga style before creating adorable chibi foods. Then develop your colouring skills with packaged manga food, learning to layer colour, shadows and highlights. Finally, put everything together to create a detailed close-up manga portrait.
