SUMMARY:AusArt Day Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:You can donate to our campaign here. \n— \nThe Victoria Park Centre for the Arts is at a pivotal moment. \nSince 1994\, we have hosted thousands of artists\, artisans\, and community members in the local Perth metro region and beyond. In the past 20 years\, we have witnessed a tremendous transformation in our local area. Albany Highway has become one of the highest density food and beverage locations in the state. We are in at a moment where local community participation in the arts is growing at a thrilling rate. \nWe host more exhibitions annually than any other gallery in the Perth metro area. We have hosted 130 exhibitions over the last 5 years featuring over 600 artists\, and have run over 1100 creative workshops and gatherings. We believe that everyone is creative\, and that meaningful engagement in community arts makes a healthy society and community. And we believe that we can do more! \nWe are inviting you to participate in our very first fundraising campaign. AusArt Day is a nationwide\, sector-wide fundraising initiative designed to mobilise artists and arts organisations to raise funds for their work and creative ambitions on a single\, powerful day. \nThat day is Thursday October 22nd 2026. \nWe hope to raise $3000. These funds will go towards artist fees for new and exciting creative programs at the Victoria Park Centre for the Arts\, allowing us to develop a series of career-building workshops for emerging artists. Together we can Make Art Happen! \nYou can donate to our campaign here. \nTo help raise awareness and funds for our AusArt Day campaign\, we are going to host a quiz night! \nOur Quiz Night will take place on Wednesday the 21st of October at 630pm at the Victoria Park Centre for the Arts. We invite all to join us! \nRegister your interest here. \n \n
