DESCRIPTION:Exhibition runs: 27 September – 11 October 2025Opening event: Saturday 27 September\, 2.00-4.00pmWeekend gallery hours: Saturdays 4th & 11th\, 11.00am-3.00pm\n\n‘Acid Utopia: Judgment Day’ is the follow-up to the 2020 exhibition ‘Acid Utopia’\, reuniting artists Anthony Kelly\, Guillermo Kramer\, Lyle Branson and Peter Carlino. Against the backdrop of growing global uncertainty\, the exhibition explores how utopian dreams — shaped and distorted by late capitalism— transform into hybrid or dystopian realities.\n\nThrough mixed media\, the artists examine the friction between idealistic visions and their often-compromised outcomes. ‘Acid Utopia: Judgment Day’ invites viewers to reflect on the shifting nature of hope\, power and imagination in an increasingly unstable world.\n\n(Pictured: ‘An Emergency’ (detail)\, Peter Carlino)
