SUMMARY:Closing event for YODyssey: The art of living well with Young Onset Dementia
DESCRIPTION:Closing event: Tuesday 26 November\, 4.00pm-6.00pm \n  \nAn exhibition showcasing artwork by people experiencing Young Onset Dementia (<65 years of age when diagnosed). The event is designed to raise community awareness of Young Onset Dementia and to highlight diagnosis is “a bend in the road\, not the end of the road”. \nThe art will be accompanied by posters\, pamphlets\, videos and workshops to educate the community about Young Onset Dementia while celebrating the quality of their artwork. \n2024 features artists Keith Bleach\, Frank Swaan\, Jenny Marsh and Saeed Foroughian. \nThe inaugural Robert Anson Perpetual Award will be presented at the closing event. \n(Pictured: Part of tryptic ‘Sense of Place’ (detail)\, Frank Swaan) \n  \nExhibition runs: Friday 8 November – 26 November 2024\nOpening event: Friday 8 November\, 4.00pm-6.00pm \n
