Learn to draw using pencil, oil pastel, soft pastel and paints. Explore colour, art and design in a variety of mediums and techniques to take home beautiful art works.

CREATIVE KIDS ART CLUB

MINI ARTISTS (2-4 yrs)

Thurs 9.30am-10.30am

Commencing: 13 February

Explore art with your little one with a range of fun art and craft activities. We will look at colour and texture, working with paint, clay, collage, printmaking and drawing. Leave the mess with us and take home the lovely works of art your little one has created! Parental participation required.

CREATIVE KIDS (5-9 yrs)

Wed 4pm-5pm or Thursday 4pm-5pm

Commencing: 12 February or 13 February

We are looking at works by famous artist Paul Klee and using his ideas to inspire us! We will draw and use watercolour paints to create a personalised artwork using your child’s name and a colourful animal drawing. Then we will begin research for our painting on canvas project. Design and detail and lots of bright colours will be our aim with each child creating a stunning work on canvas.

ART CLUB (9-14 yrs)

Wed 5pm-6pm

Commencing: 12 February

Learn to draw and paint with 3 projects using pencil, oil pastel, markers, metal and acrylic paint. Set up a drawing journal to record your ideas. Study paintings by professional artist Heather Galler and try out their techniques on canvas. We look at colour and pattern with an eye for detail this term. Students will develop their own ideas and create.
