Before we paint we will explore the cultural as well as your personal symbolism associated with roses. We will also look at how well-known painters have portrayed roses from the past to now. Over the course of the afternoon you will receive expert instruction on how to draw your composition as well as important aspects of painting including how to mix and layer your colours for glowing blooms. Some experience painting with watercolours is recommended. Afternoon tea provided but please bring your own paints.
