The Victoria Park Centre for the Arts aspires to present a wide variety of exciting and original exhibitions that will delight the senses to the Victoria Park community and the greater Perth metropolitan area. We welcome applications from professional and emerging artists or any organisation, school, student body or community group with an arts project they believe would work well in our gallery or centre spaces.
We have a special interest in supporting and promoting emerging and/or young artists and artists who have a physical and/or intellectual disability. All areas of the centre are fully accessible including the studio and gallery spaces.
Although exhibitors’ remain responsible for the curation and installation of their exhibition the centre’s Artistic Director, Clare Szmekura, will be available to offer advice and assistance if requested and final approval of the exhibitions delivery remains with the centre. Please note that dependant on the level of support required from the centre a fee may apply.
If you are interested in holding an exhibition at the centre, please email a short proposal outlining:
Who you are
The content of your exhibition
How you would display your artwork e.g. hung works, displayed on plinths, installation piece or performance art
The areas of the centre you would require for your exhibition
Length of time you wish to exhibit
When you would like to exhibit
Level of assistance required from the centre if any
Please include relevant links to websites or social media platforms and/or images of your work and a brief artists cv where relevant.
